Lots of walks, cozy cottages with amazing views but because of fog we couldn't take them in to the fullest extent.

Terri and Matthew have strived for perfection at Kidlandlee, and I think they have achieved it! The standard of the accommodation is second to none and you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive. It's a tricky 4 mile drive from rhe Road up through the valley to reach the cottages. But it is stunning when you arrive.
The peace, serenity, and charm of Kidlandlee gets under your skin . We have been twice in 3 months and already booked for next year.
Go and understand why Kidlandlee is Srlf catering accommodation of the year 2023 !

Superb collection of cottages finished to a high standard. Located in the middle of no where and off grid. Spent an amazing 4 nights. Matthew and Terri are brilliant hosts.
Have now been coming here for 5 years or so and the standards have remained as high as ever.

High end cottages - very well finished, well insulated so warm at night and is well kitted out.
The location is a double edged sword, you’re out in the middle of nowhere so amazing views, walks and privacy; but you are in the middle of no where, so expect to do a lot of driving if you want days out.
All the staff we have interacted with from the owner to the cleaning staff have been professional, friendly and helpful.
Very welcoming to our dog, and bowls and dog towels are provided which is helpful.
A great place we’d stay again.

This is the most remote holiday cottage we have ever stayed at. It felt like we were going on a real adventure every time we drove in and out of Kindlandlee. The valleys around the houses are beautiful. It is a great place to stay for walking and cycling in Northumberland.

Quite simply an unbelievable location and a property of the highest order, combined with a service that simply cannot be faulted. Terri provided comprehensive communication throughout and the nice little touches such as a welcoming gift hamper, along with luxury products and an eco-friendly ethos really added an extra dimension that we felt the property duly deserved.
We cannot wait to return to once again, fully enjoy the stunning backdrop that this property is situated in. Simply stunning!

This was our first visit to Kidlandlee, what an amazing, stunning location with a beautiful cottage upon arrival. The accommodation was so well appointed and thoughtfully laid out/furnished, it truly feels like you are staying in a much loved home. Terri, Matthew, their family and Oscar & Indie are all lovely, nothing too much trouble - and always around if needed. Can't wait to visit again, a week wasn't long enough. Thank you, Kathryn, Andy, Matthew, Samantha & Lady :-) xxx
